IF YOU SURVIVE GO THROUGH BUXTON ON THE A6 THROUGH BAKEWELL TO MATLOCK BATH. LOADS OF BIKERS MEET THERE ALL THROUGH THE SUMMER. COME AND AVE A GO IF YOU THINK YER ARD ENOUGH. SEE YOU THERE.

Macclesfield to: Whaley Bridge
Challenging in the extreme, Good surface, watch for SHEEP. Start at Tesco in Macc. Head out along Silk Road towards LEEK. Pass football gnd on right. Carry on to lights on FAST A road. At lights go left to BUXTON. After 10 miles of hair raising wheelies off rises and scraping of undercarriage turn RIGHT at junction to BUXTON. At next junction go LEFT. Ride into BUXTON, watch for LEFT TURN signed to WHALEY BRIDGE. Follow this road for 8 miles to WHALEY BRIDGE. At lights go STAIGHT OVER. Follow road to MACCLESFIELD and you will arrive at TESCO ready for more.

This is circular route, hardly using the A60 at all, Leave worksop on the A57, Bus: trunk road. to Todwick T lights, Turn R: unclassified road, sign Thurcroft, After 2mls dog leg straight ahead, Oldcotes, left on to A60. 200 yds, left A630 Rotherham, to edge of Maltby. R/H/turn on to Rotherham / Bawtry road. This ection consits of windy twisty luvly country roads, continue thru Bawtry to Gainsboro: this is your wide sweeping fast road bit, but watch your speed thru EVERTON, because Plod risides there on a VERY, Very regular basis. At 2nd roundabout, take A620 to retford/ worksop. This can be joined to a circle, that can then include a local motorcycle mecca called MATLOCK BATH! Leave on the 619 thru Chesterfield , again lots of nests of plods reside around this area! But its the most directist and easyist route to get there. Leave Chesterfield following brown signs to Chatswrth and Buxton. Baslow T/l: at roundabout after about 1ml T/R to Bakewell. follow signs again to Buxton(A6) Twisty Twisty fasty Fasty knee down naughty bits HEE HEE Buxton, towards Ashbourne, After 5mls Newhaven, look for left turn towards Cromford & Matlock. Yet another cheesy cheesy grinny grinny road. return direct from matlock to chesterfield . Brill Sunday thrash about rush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
